The exam is conducted through Online mode. The candidate can choose three examination centers across India, from the provided list. The exam will be conducted on four different dates (list can be found in the important dates section).
Aspirants will be asked questions from four subjects namely - Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and English & Logical reasoning (PCM) for Engineering. Each section will contain 50 questions and 200 marks. The questions will be in the form of “Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Each question will carry 4 marks and 1/4th marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. No marks will be either awarded or deducted for not answering any question.

The pattern of the examination shall be objective type and there shall be multiple choice questions (MCQs) with four options, having only a single correct answer. Each correct answer carries four marks. The candidates have to mark the right answer on the OMR sheet. For each incorrect answer, one-fourth (1/4) of the total marks would be deducted. No deduction from the total score shall be made if, in the case of any of the questions, no response is indicated in the answer sheet. Kindly note that more than one response for a question would be deemed incorrect and will be negatively marked, even if one of the answers is correct, the response shall be considered incorrect.
